Radio 3.28.00

Hi guys,

just thought I'd mention that I had six Qtek1010:s upgraded to radio version 3.28.00 today. It is not available for download yet, but you should soon be able to find it on www.qtek.se.

If you're on Vodafone in Sweden, since Saturday you need this upgrade to be able to use GPRS. Vodafone made some changes to their network to support 3G-2G handovers.

Well.... the easiest way is to go to Engström Telecom and if you ask gently they should be more than happy to help you out.

Or, you could wait until the download is available and try the upgrade yourself.

If you go to Engström, call Vodafone and make them give you a refund for the 250sek "express fee" that you will have to pay Engströms to have your phone updated while waiting.

Any news on this? I just got my second hand Qtek 1010, with radio rom 3.25. But I can't find the 3.28 radio rom on www.qtek.se...

I don't know why, but they seem to never have got around to publishing it on the website. Just contact Engström though and they should be able to help you.
