XDA II Rom Upgrade & Tom Tom Nav2 = Hung XDA II

Has anyone come across this problem.

I have upgraded the rom on my xda ii, reinstalled tom tom nav2 & as soon as i try to run it, my xda ii freezes up and it becomes unusable. Is there anyway i can go back to the previous rom otherwise Tom Tom is going to be useless to me.

Try uninstalling the gps portion of tomtom, then reinstall it. Use the 2.09 gps upgrade file to reinstall. Its worth a try, this freezing/locking can happen if the wrong port is chosen for gps. <ake sure that settings/connections/incoming beams is unchecked also.

Try turning off the beam (infrared), the port it used conflicted with the port my wired HOLUX GPS used.

Exactly same problem, turning off beams and changing gps port fixed, was very annoying....

Beams sux, it was running slooooooooooooooooow enough when it was on that i nearly chucked it out the window
