Sloooooooow PPC after ROM update

Since upgrading XDA II to the new ROM I have found even after a hard reset it resonds slower, with a couple of today addons and tomtom3 installed its real slow and I am frequently having to soft reset because it jams.

Any one have any ideas why? Or is having this problem?

After upgrading, did you restore from a backup? The upgrade instructions clearly stated that you're not supposed to do a restore after the upgrade.

I had that as well for a some 30 minutes... gone after that and not seen again...

Nope, didn't restore a back up, only thing i didn't do that was in the install instructions was stop all running programs.

Its been doing it now for couple of days, all ive got on today screen is batt pack, pocket plus, journal bar and ms money - don't know if they have cany compatability probs with xda II, although it did seen v slow even after clean install

If it continues like that... first thing I would try is getting rid of the Today plug-ins - especially Battery Pack, but better all of them... then do a soft reset and check again...

I had the same problem - I found that when I didn't use Mobitools 2.5 ( a program manager thing) it seemed to work OK.

Don't know if there is somthing in the WM2003 SP1 that doesn't like certain programs (or programming techniques).
