upgraded to special rom but got a couple of config issues

This rom is cool but can anyone tell me how to get the buttons to work when the phone is off again? Also the calendar language is not english any idea on where to set that? I've looked but I can't find the answer in the forum or in the docs.

I 'm sorry I couldn't get to exactly what you meant in your questions:

1. The buttons issue: you mean how to turn on the xda when you press any key and not only the power key ? ... if yes, then it's on Start -> settings -> phone -> more -> select "Don't lock buttons"

2. The calendar issue: you mean that everything is in english except the calendar, or the whole ROM is not english ??

Sorry my post was not clear...

I'm speaking of the buttons on the front of the device 2 phone buttons the claendar and contacts buttons. The 3.017.03 ENG doc says they will be disabled but doesn't say how to enable them. I'm too new to know!

The calendar is not english but everything else is. 3.17.03 ENG
