NEED HELP WITH AT&T SX56

Hi.
I have an AT&T SX56 and i'm trying to upgrade the ROM, but NOTHING does te job.
I have Windows 98SE and am trying to upgrade while the device is in the cradle and the activesync shows communication with the device.
can someone explain to me - LIKE A TOTAL IDIOT - how to upgrade and what I need? I really will appreciate it.

Describe what you have done so far in your attempt to flash the rom. Also your current rom version and radio stack.
