hi,

Is anyone using a rikaline 6010 with thier xda 1 ??

Im having a slight problem that I can only pick satalites up when its dark and have huge issues locking them when its sunny.

Ive been told it might have somit to do with my winscreen as it changes colour when its sunny.

Any ideas.

A tinted screen will not affect gps signal however a metallic screen will block the signal, this makes no sense here though because daytime is the same as night time where gps is concerned.

i have a new clio and when it gets warm the front screen changes colour to stop glare (it has thin film in between the screen glass which changes colour)
etc etc.

there is a little square clear part of the screen that you can put things in like toll passes etc... well this is where I have my receiver and for the past month i have been receiving 9 plus sats with no issues.
but as soon as it got sunny last week Im locking maybe 2 - 4 ...

but as stated at night it returns back to 6 plus

hmmm
any clues how I could resolve this ???
