how to change default country in contacts

hi all

i use a mda2 from t-mobile austria. i updated with a german rom (1.60.00GER, ext.rom 1.60.07)

my problem is the following:

when i add a new contact, the standard country is "deutschland" and not "austria / Österreich" even though i changed my country settings to "Deutsch (Österreich)".

this is very annoying because i have to change that parameter to "Österreich" every time. how can i change that to become "Österreich" for default (maybe with a reg hack)

have you set the right country in locolize settings in system ?

that was the first thing i tried....

anyone got any more ideas ???

In the contacts:
Tap on Tools -> Options and voila you can set your default country.
