bar code scanner for XDA

Can anybody tell me how to use a barcode scanner with XDA and has anybody ever tried using a bar code scanner for XDA

Try looking at symbols CS1504 it has a serial interface. You need a cable which is the tricky bit. You can use the SDK for the CS1504 to read from the device.

We got a scanner from a company called AirClic but their scanner returns encryted data but we also got the CS1504 from symbol which is not encryted.

The main reason to go to AirClic is that the cable that comes with their device fits the XDA
