Newbie question #1 of many

Hiya all,

I've just received my XDA2 yesterday and am slowly getting to grips with it but I was just wondering if there is anyway to stop the poxy O2 active thing and to get a remaining battery indicator on the main screen?

Expect more dumb and newbie questions like this from me in the future, and hello to you all :)

You can stop the O2 Active screen by going to:

Start / Settings / System / Memory / Running Programs ( tab )

Then Stop Active by highlighing it and hitting stop. It will probably say error but just tell it to end task and it will stop Active from running until you perform a soft reset.

My personal favourite for displaying the battery level on the today screen is BatMemTime 3.3.7 which can be found here:
