USB SYNC/CHARGE CABLE CHARGING PROBLEMS

just bought the new mini sync/charge usb cable from www.pc-mobile.net
and i am having trouble getting the cable to charge my xda 2 from USB.

doesnt make much sense considering my xda 2 charges just fine from my cradle by USB.

i have read the previous posts regarding this issue but there wasint much of a concolusion.

i emailed pcmobile as well and they wherent much help either. they basically said their xda 2 works fine with it and they linked me to posts regarding this issue on this forum.

so anyway my question would be, what the heck is the problem? has anyone come to a conclusion about this issue yet? is it the xda 2 or the cable?

some people reported that it works sometimes but not all the time...i havent been able to get mine to work at all...it syncs my xda 2 no problem but it doesnt charge the battery at all...

any suggestions?

i have the same problem with the belkin one.
it will only charge when the battery power is above 30% after that it won't do anything.

I've got the same problem with my usb cable - sometimes it charges, most times it drains, but it has twice charged a completely flat XDAII, but more often it just drains the battery. I've tried doing all sorts of different things to recreate the conditions where it charges, but to no avail.
