I am selling my XDA on ebay.
I want to be sure I don't pass on any personal information with it.
I have hard reset the it. Anything else I need to do?

As long as you never used the 'Permanent Save' program, you're all set. All of your data is erased from the XDA!

Hi, i have used the permanent save feature, so if i were to sell my XDA, how would i go about removing that data?

With permanent save feature switched on, delete all contacts/data. Then uncheck the permanent save feature. You can check if its clear by doing a soft reset, once it has rebooted with all your data removed, reactivate the save feature, you should find that it is all gone. Just turning off the feature doesnt work, you must delete contacts etc, then uncheck the feature, then reset.

Thanks guys.
I don't use permanent save - I synchronise with a couple of different PCs in different locations.
If something caused me to lose all three copies, that something would be much worse than having to reload the data.
I'd have lost two home PCs and my work laptop.
I would't be able to use the XDA for the tears!
