Well, ive had my xda II for 2 days now.. ive been customising it loads. What happend was i loaded a film in PocketMVP (mpeg) and it crashed, its done this a few times now with certian divx files etc.. usually i just click about a few times and it closes.. but this time it didnt, just black and the backlight. So i tried reset and nothing just white screen no backlight no O2 splash nothing.
A hard reset fixed it fine but ide like to learn from my mistake (other than not backing up all my nice customisations  )

What did i do to kill it????

im upgrading the rom now hopign that will reduce any problems, it was running .05 before something USA and some other numbers (1337.5) It might be a beta becuase the phone was got in late december and i dont think it was offcially released then

Strange, the updates finished. Like the new splash screen and themes etc.. but i dont have o2 active anymore.. or anything o2 related. (i dont care i uninstall them anyway) but it said it was customising it all but apparently not.

oh well back to restoring allll my settings

Do a hard reset, and Active will self install.

Some users, for whatever reason, find active doesn't install until the device is reset (hard reset)
