Ciao a tutti
Mi sembra che non sia stato ancora postato, ma non ho avuto tempo di verificare per bene. Nel caso scusatemi :)

@all italian

COULD YOU STOP TALKING ITALIAN ?!?

EVERYONE complies to the common language spoken/written in this international forum = ENGLISH

why is it so hard for you to understand that ????

there'a a folder called "dangaard_ITA" on the ftp (http://maja.mine.nu:8000) ...if someone wants to upload the file downloaded from the dangaard website

(i can't because mine is an o2 one and dangaard wants the imei to download it)

I'll use nicer words, but say the same thing: the language for XDA-developers is English. I know I have let this slip, mostly because of a lack of spare time over the past weeks.

I also know that discussions of Italian ROMs seem to hold little of interest except to Italian speakers, but that's not always true. On browsing the discussions I see many things that could be of use to others that now cannot read what's being said. And it's anoying to those that want to keep up on all new messages posted to keep having to find out the thread is in a language they don't speak.

I could ofcourse create an Italian forum. And as it so happens, I read enough Italian to make sense of most of it (as I speak Spanish). But then when the Koreans and Polish want a sub-board next week, I end up with all these discussions on our system that I cannot read. Given the legal risks that surround an open-forum operation such as this, this would be unacceptable.

So, I'm marking the subject of existing threads that contain Italian, and I'm afraid I have to politely ask the Italians to return to English (which I have seen most Italian posters actually master quite well).

I'm uploading the installation file (RUU166183ITA_Qtek-mms16013ita.exe) right now.

I had a big CRASH while upgrading from ROM 1.66.04 ITA to the last ROM available using the file I'm uploading now, so be careful using it.

The program let me start the upgrade but after a few seconds it showed to me the COUNTRY ID ERROR and I had to suffer a lot before restoring the older ROM..

BUT I don't have an Original QTEK2020, in fact mine is a MDAII from T-mobile with the ROM changed to Qtek using the bootloader menu and a SecureDigital with a file .img on it...

Hope someone can make a file .img with this new ROM in order to upgrade my MDA2 using the bootloader menu...

hey m8, you're probably right, but don't shout ok?!?

thanks mdkia

thanks for the understanding. i was just shouting because i asked before in the long italian thread. :)

but nothing happened. i know i'm no admin or something like that, but as peter wrote: there are some interesting things you discussed in that thread, and i'd like to take part in that discussion as well - what i can't if you write italian.

sorry for having been rude - maybe it's because i have some heavy stress in the office right now :(

hope i got me point clear now ;)

thanks for your attention....

Ok, boys the only difference in the upgade from the official website of Danggard Ialy is the extended rom v. 1.66.183 (the old was 1.66.148) you must copy the cab file from the nw image of mdkia after a hard reset and immediately a soft reset (for stop the extended rom) and you became exactly as the new rom. (I have do that succesfully)

hy, which of the many files is the image file I have to download from mdkia's server, to upgrade to the new ext rom?
I mean, how do I upgrade my MDAII (rom 1.66.04ITA - ext rom1.66.148) evoiding the crash problems encountered by peppepep (hello mate  )?

btw, what is the concrete difference between the old and the new ext ita rom? If no important changes have been made, maybe I'll decide to keep my "old" one (upgraded 15 days ago), that works well, and has given no particular problem, by now.
I find it so stressful to hard reset twice in a month :o

You are right man, leave all stuff as is, no changelog is available unless the upgrade procedure has been tested and is fully working, that's why nobody answers.
If you'd really love to mess all things up, do an hardreset then a softreset BEFORE extrom starts installing its stuff (you know, 3..2..1..), then extract cabs from the new 184 ms_.nbf (you can easily find out how doing this in past postings in italian threads) and just install them.

Do it at your own risk dude
