has any one used rikaline gps system with tom tom city maps i am unable to make a connection is it somthing to do with the ir port beong switched on or off

hi I also have a rilkaline 6010 gps mouse, and it does not send any valid serial output. Some characters are transmited, but they are wrong. It should operate in ASCII mode but I receive no valid signals. I tested the signal by oscilloscope and by the serial scanner. Is the problem the same?

Beams should be uncecked under settings/connections/beams. I think the gps settings should work with tomtom gps chosen or try nmea 4800, com 1.

had same prob found out it was faulty gps from ebay lol so sent back for a replacement and the replacement actually sends gps data to the xda now :)
