Restoring from old ROM versio

I am trying to restore a backup created on a previous ROM version to my new Qtek 2020, which is running ROM version 1.66.00WWE. I receive an error message say that the "ArcSoftToday.." file located in Windows could not be copied and at the same time the Qtek writes: ”Unable to read Contact Data! (Error code: F000985E) 101:200:563"

The result is that the screen on the Qtek once restored is blank (can't be used) although all files seem to be restored.

Any advice would be appreciated..

Hi Thomas,

Try disabling your MMS Composer from your Today-screen!
1. Start - Settings - Today - Items
2. UNCHECK "MMS Composer"
3. Tap OK
4. Perform a soft-reset

MMS-Composer will be removed from your today-screen.
Try restore again!

Let me know if this works!

Hi Sam.
I did not receive the error message on the PC, however the screen is still blank and the Qtek error message ”Unable to read Contact Data! (Error code: F000985E) 101:200:563” still appeared.

Hi,

There could be a difference between your 2 Poutlook-versions...
Don't know how to solve this...

Maybe your backup-file is corrupt.
