dim background light more smoothely

Just wondering, if there´s any way to dim down the bgnd light more smooth.

-i am using my mdaII for reading in bed, so the background light is to bright!

-any ideas? 8)

I'm not sure what you mean by "more smooth", but this is easily accomplished by Start -> Settings -> System -> Backlight -> Brightness and then using the sliders to adjust the brightness while on battery and while plugged-in.

You will most likely want to visit the "Battery Power" tab of that control panel and de-select "Turn off backlight . . ." AND "Turn on backlight . . ." so it maintains the backlight setting you desire as you scroll through your reading.

sorry for my bad english :(

i do use the "Battery Power" tab of control panel to dim the light down, but i do need more steps to dim the light -it is too bright in the first selectable step :(

use the spray on tail light tint. right on the screen.

You can't add more level
But put à tinted film could be à good idea

Tu ne peux pas ajouter plus de niveau de contraste que ceux qui sont dans les paramètres à moins de trouver la dll qui contrôle ca mais ca risque d'etre très compliqué
Met in film teinté sur l'écran le soir ;)
