Remove duplicate records from Contacts????????

Does anybody know how to remove duplicate contacts from I-Mate?
After restore and following syncing - I got duplicate records (a lot of them :( )
Any solution or software???

This is not relatd to your I-mate, Q-tek, etc, this is a Micro$oft poor implementation of active-sync.

I've found several programs for deleting duplicate contacts, calendar entries, etc, but you have to look around the web and try a few
The best I've found to date has just been removed from its web page http://www.hlyspirit.org.uk, yes, you guess, it is called "prierware" (money free, just prie for peace).
Also try www.softpile.com, but they are shareware, and the price has yet to prove worthy to me.

As a precaution, made always "clean" backups of your contacts in your PC prior to sync large ammounts of info. It takes a few seconds, and can save you hours of hassel. I removed by hand several hundreds of duplicates, and is a time concumming thing.

It should be a tool included in Outlook or activeSync from the very beginning....
