Hi everyone !

Does anyone know how can we listen to the radio on XDA or pocket pc like a nokia mobile phone? If we can, which software do we use and where can we get it?

Thank in advance,

The only possibility to hear radio via the device is using a webradio over GPRS. But i think, it would be a very expensive method to ge some music from the device...

That will not work with the XDA. The XDA only have an SD-slot and not an required SDIO-slot. So this card will only work with the new XDA II device...

Wazza...

There are plenty of cheap chinese radio headsets available, but you cant control them via your xda, only manually! And some of them do not support muting on incoming calls, so you need to press some buttons on the headset to mute the music...

Hi All

If anyone is interested I am working with Energy Radio who are Launching on October 1st 2004 at 8am.

We will have a custom page for anyone using the SPV M1000 / XDA II. Currently we are running a test broadcast on a specific IP address and port and found it works really well, if anyone would be interested in trying it for us I would be happy to chat with you.

Just got the M1000 from Orange UK on thursday and have fallen in love with it!

Dear Mr.Chris Ogden,

Thank you for your inquiry.

We are planning to release SD-Radio two months from now.
Your model XDA II is Pocket PC2003 base, so basically
it should work. However, SDIO driver(SDIO Now!) is also required.
Since we haven't experienced your model so far, we are not sure whether
XDA II supports SDIO Now! or not.
Furthermore,
Sorry to inform you but, at the moment, our online-shop supports to domestic
Japan only. So if you are not living in Japan we can't support.
If SDIO Now! is support on XDA II and you are in Japan, please let us know.
We will inform you as soon as SD-Radio is ready to ship.

Our products price are as follows:
SD-Link11b : 12600yen (Excluding the postage)
SD-Radio : 3765yen (Excluding the postage)

If you have any further questions, please feel free to contact us.

Kind regards,
C-guys Online-shop

Hi.

Given the limited battery life of the XDA's and the cost of streaming over GPRS (if possible),
maybe the best solution is hardware? try: http://www.wavehunter.com/hfreerdo.htm

I haven't tried it myself, so I don't know if/how well it works.
Good luck!
