This is another one of those "why won't the cable charge my XDA" question... except this time I'm trying to charge my XDA I with a XDA II sync n charge USB cable.

The product is rated as follows-
Input Voltage: 5V
Charging Current: 500mA

It works perfectly as a sync cable, but it will not charge. Should I have gotten a cable specifically for XDA I instead?

I read this thread at http://forum.xda-developers.com/viewtopic.php?t=5438, but not sure if it applies to me since my problem is the opposite...

thanks in advance

Should I be making some modifications, in order to make it charge? :?:

I wish I had a XDA 2 to use my cable with!

but I don't, unfortunately...

Anyways, I ended up just exchanging it for a pure XDA I Sync n Charge cable, and it now works beautifully. :P
