Activesync with BT

Ok at current im just using the USB connection for activesync so when i connect activesync auto detects the device like its designed to. So my question is if i was to purchase a BT dongle for my PC would it detect it as it came in to range or do i need to activate it from either the PC or xda?

You would activate it from your XDA. It will remain running on the PC, as it does now, but would allow BT connections as well.
