Hello, i´ve got a MDA2 but i need the Software from XDA2. The Software i´ve got. From O2-online.de 26,9MB. But i can not install it because it is the wrong rom-image for my pocket pc and the country id is wrong. How can i install the xda2-software to my Mda2? I´m very happy when you can help me. There are at least two ways:
- you can edit the ROM image you want to flash so that it has the correct ID. This has been described in this forum extensively. Just search for "country id error". This method is fast, but a bit complicated.
- you can first flash the old 1.03 version, and then the newest O2 version. As far as I know, 1.03 performs no checks, so it can be flashed over everything, and everything can then be flashed over it. The version 1.03 can still be downloaded from the T-Mobile web site (the German version is here (http://www.t-mobile.de/downloads/1,1953,7483-_,00.html)). This method is slower, but simpler.

Now a other question, the same by mda1 with software from xda1. How can i install the software from xda1 to a mda1? Sorry my english is not very well.
