Widcomm Bluetooth 1.4.2.21

Hi all,

I have installed Widcomm Bluetooth 1.4.2.21 on my PC.

The problem I am facing is that Widcomm can not detect my Com1 Bluetooth Dongle.

Can anyone help me.

Hi! Where can I find Widcomm 1.4.2.21 for downloading? Do you have a link?

I have an Acer bluetooth Dongle using an older version of Widcomm Stack (1.3) but its working fine, except networking with XDA2 because of stupid MS Stack, tried to install Widcomm Stack also on XDA2 (with file bluetoothgps.zip)but its not a real solution as the headset doesn't work nicely....and the two stacks interfere.. I you want I can perhaps upload it here, although its quite big (25MB).

Can't you attach it to your message? I've seen tons of people attaching ROMs that are 26mb

I've pulled this down, but before I install it, any views as to XDA2 compatability and functionality compared to the built-in stack (ROM 1.6)

hmmm strange...:( when I try to install the widcomm 1.4 versions the com port is always com 0 for the serial port service... I cannot change this or add a port or anything. Now I reinstalled Widcomm 1.3.5 (attached) and everything is fine and I can use serial port com 4 but in Widcomm 1.3.5 theres no Audio Profiles oder HID Profiles .:( ...but I need com 4 for ActiveSync....I have Acer Bluetooth Dongle..... Anybody has a Solution?
