Help - PIE is extremely slow

I use PIE mainly to view the Avantgo downloaded items. However when I open PIE, and then select Avantgo it takes between 20-30 seconds to actually find the home page.

When I used to do this on my XDAI this was almost instantaneous.

Any ideas why this would be happening?
