Missed call on screen

Is there any way of getting " missed call " to show on screen. It's one of the few things that seem to be lacking with this device.

I've never found a way, you seem to have to tap the missed calls icon to see them,

And when you say 'one of the few things lacking', shouldnt that say 'one of the MANY thing lacking' !!! :)

there is that freeware program that some guy from this forum makes
forget it's name but it should display it
