ROM upgrade to 1.60.50 from 1.60.00

Hi there....

I recently downloaded all of the 1.60.50 rom update from o2's website and went through all of the update process. However, when I look at the system it still ays its 1.60.00WWE.

Have I done something wrong?

I'll bet if you look at the extended ROM - IT IS version 1.60.50. This is usually the number they are referring to when they list ROM revisions.

I did this, when I already had the updated version on my XDAII!! I wrote to O2 about this but recieved no comment.

They should warn that you need to check which ROM version you have and what version you will end up with i.e. ROM 1.60.00WWE and extROM 1.60.50. I advised them that I risked frying my machine with an unneccessary up grade. As usual no response to this.

UPGRADERS BEWARE!!!
