active sync sound notification

all notifications seem fine except the one for starting active sync. I've got this cool wav that says "connection complete" but it doesn't work when i put the xda in the cradle.


any idea anyone?? the default one works ok

Where did you get the wav (sorry I cant answer your question, but the wav sounds cool)?

Be sure to test the wav by just tapping it from the file-explorer. Some formats wavefiles don't work on the MDA/XDA !

Well thing is I set it as the sound for active sync:end sync and when i remove the phone from the cradle it plays the sound fine!

it just won't work for the Active Sync: Begin sync sound

I have the same problem... The preview play button plays the sound back ok so i only assume it's ok

The same sound sample works fine for disconnection too. Some horrible bug here methinks..
