Hi
I have resolved the Checksum is not correct problem I was having and now have a working xda again.
The problem was solved by formating and writing the SD card on a different PC and writing the ROM using XDATools rather than XDArit. I think the real cause of my troubles was the fact that I was writing to a built-in SD slot on my laptop with XDArit (XDATools could not). When using an SD slot on my HP printer I was successful.
For the record, anyone with an Compaq nx7010, do not try and write to your SD with the built in SD slot!!!!
Thanks to those who assisted
