Hi there!

First, sorry for my worst english, but i'm not to perfect there ;-)

Now to my problem:

I've get the O2-XDA1 last week and there was only old ROM-versions installed.

So, i've seen the Radiostackupdate at the O2-Page and tryed to installed them.

But this update failed at 10% with the reason "Fehler beim beschreiben des Flashspeichers. Drücken Sie "OK" um neuzustarten"/"Failed writing into flashram - click "ok" to restart the device".

After the forced restart the update hangs at 1% - everytime!

Now no radiosoftware would detect - and the device didn't found the insert accu.

Well, then i've done a flash from CE via wallaby bootloader, but the problem stand by. :-(

I tested to flash the T-Mobile ROM, but that fails - after 1%, too.

After an idea I only copied the RSUpgrade.exe to the device and start them.

Result: The Tool starts without errors and after 1% the same message "Retry again".

So I think, the upgradetools try to delete the existing radiostack first - but there is no existing version at my ROM - and so the installation from the new Radiostack don't functionally.

What can I do to write the GSM-ROM to my XDA?

I'm using Windows XP (desktop) and i've only a USB-Cradle - no serial.

Thanks for reading and i hope for helpfully answers.

@Long:

Well,

it's definitely not the way you would decide (for me not, too!), but after a week full of searching, trying and no results, i've send my XDA to the customer service.

It's fool: So many users had this problem, but no possibillity to re-alive the XDA exists... :-(

I hope that a failed radiostack didn't kill my warranty - that were fool... :-/
Well, I would see.

If there any possibilitys to rescue the X/MDA (1), so please post them! Now i can't do anything, but for example i need them in future.

Greets and thanks,

Christopher

Me too, I stand in the line with you.

The good news is that if a service center can repair it then it will not be long before one of the great guys here will figure it up, I can feel that they take these problems as a challenge that they must win. :)
