I tested my QTEK 2020 with my new SonyEricsson HBH-600 (Akono) and it didnt work first time bonding it. The OS asked me if I wanted to use it as a headset but it simply didnt work :(

I downloaded Bluetooth tools and bonded again and chooses the headset profile. Now it works perfect!

It was worth the 500SEK (66USD) :D

I had a nightmare at first with my Plantronics M3000 headset too, it kept losing it's bonding and requiring the passcode to be re-entered (not the easiest thing to do in the outside lane of the M6).

However, install Bluetooth Tools and it works like a dream, looks like BT is a must have addition.

Gonna have to try it with a Jabra h/s now as they look nicer!

I have a Jabra 250 and it works great with the XDA II.

How would Bluetooth tools improve things?

What other benefits are there?

If it works dont install BT Tools ;) It didnt work for me with the original software so I made a try with BT Tools and then it worked fine.

Turns BT on with incoming calls and off automatically when no BT activity is detected.
This is in my opinion the most important feature: you dont have to keep the BT always on, saving a lot of battery power.

Then it manages a couple of power profiles (e.g. backlight always on).

Then... many other things @ http://www.angeltowns.com/town/bluetooth

I have the same headset (HBH-600) as you and it worked right away with my XDA. Why is it different? I thought the hardware on your QTek and my XDA is the same?
