Hi there.
I have searched (I wish you could limit the function to search topics only) but couldn't find the answer to this although I'm sure it must be addressed someplace.
I've flashed my XDA1 a few times and not really had a problem except for one niggly thing. The Image displayed on reset is upsidedown and flipped vertically. It does this regardless of the image contained within the rom file.
Silly thing, and not a problem as such [?] but I'd like to know why it does this....
Thanks Y'all
Marcus

What image do you have in your ROM?
Do you use an original ROM or a cooked ROM.
I think the problem is the image itself. As much as i know, i have 2 or 3 images that haven´t the 100% correct format.....

Hi Stefan.
I have used a few of the images from your Kitchen, ALL of them so far have been inverted and flipped
Well, it doesn't matter, it must be me luck I guess......

It could also be a hardware problem. Did you open your xda before this started to happen, or it received a chock? I do change LCDs between several qteks and this problem does happen sometimes when the larger cable (it is the one for the LCD) is not well installed.
If this is the case, you will have to take off the back cover, look for the larger cable, and carefully lift the lock up form the right hand side (when you hold the xda with antenna up) adjust the cable and lock it back.
If you don’t have enough hand skills, send it to a repair center because this is a delicate process.

No, you don't understand, this is a software issue.
The XDA is working perfectly apart from this small thing

Stefan,
I have the same problem using the picture "Windows Mobile XDA" with "4.01.19 GER T-Mobile".
I have not tried yet another picture, but with previeous roms I've never had this problem.

"Windows Mobile XDA"
is one of the files with the "wrong" file format. Maybe anyone will be able to correct this problem.....
Actually i removed this file from the kitchen....
