Hi "wizards",

I've just registered even if I spent last two week looking around the whole forum gathering "precious" information...

I'm cooking my own ExtROM (better, I'm "tuning" it with various .CABs I need).

I'm wondering if there is any solution (or workaround) to the following:

- is there any way to create a directory within the commands available in config.txt ?

- is there maybe the way to move a complete directory from one source to another (thus solving the above problem...) ?

- is there any way to use the CPY1 and CPY2 commands to get some files stored inside a MMC/SD card and move them around the XDA2 ?
I mean I have an Italian version of the device and the MMC/SD is called "Scheda di memoria" with spaces within the name...
I've tried using brackets with no success...

- is there any way (switch, etc.) to install a .CAB in a MMC/SD instead of the main memory ?

I know I could gather only NEGATIVE asnwers to the above questions, nevertheless I thought is was worth asking...

BTW: I think the registration process should be updated with the newer versions available for the XDA2: actually I'm running v1.72.04ITA dated 04/13/04 with Radio v1.14.00 (ExtROM "was" 1.72.128). Am I the only one with this ?

These are the commands that I know off:

EXEC:<exe command>
CAB:<cab to install>
CPY1:<source file>
CPY2:<destination>
RST: Reset

Not sure if there are any more.... ??

I have an answer for myself, in the meaningwhile...

The third question is stupid...

I was trying to get the CPY1 & CPY2 commands to copy from the Memory Card ("Scheda di memoria" in Italian) while at the same time I was trying to have the PPC create a non existant directory in the hope the PPC could imagine my desires...

Indeed SPACES within the command may be present as I'm actually copying files from the MMC/SD called "Scheda di memoria" to the main PPC memory with no troubles at all...

Obviously, the paths must already exist... the batch does not create them...

My first two and the fourth questions are still pending... 8)

Thank you for your efforts...

Ciao
