speaker only works now and again

has anyone had this problem? and how is it resolved? It works now and again and i've tried a hard reset to no joy.

Any help will be greatly appreciated as i love my xda and dont wanna have to buy a new one.

Hello, I'm not quite sure I understand your post.

Does your speaker sometimes fail?

If that's the case, it could be that the headphone jack is failing and some have reported that inserting the headset several times dislodges the internal switch so the speaker returns to normal.

Or, it could be that the speaker loosen a little so the contacts fail. If so, please follow my tutorial. (My model is a MDA2, XDA2).

Yes, try inserting and removing the headset a few times. Sometimes a little squirt of switch gear after will keep it from sticking.
