Hi to all, have had my xda 2 for a couple of months now, starting to play with it and have a few questions for those in the know
So if you could help out it will be appreciated TIA

1 Under the my xda>connections>select country, whaen i choose UK then finish, after the restart i check and the country has returned to Germany, i get around this by not clicking finish, it works but its annoying.

2 I used to have an mpx200 when i recieved email notifications from various forums i frequent it would contain the message as well, handy for knowing whats been posted without having to log on to the forum and troll through page after page, at the moment the email on the xda is truncated, is there a way around this ??

3 I know there are other browsers out there for the xda2 but can anyone recommend a good one that will resize pages so that i dont have to scroll horizontally to read forum reply's etc etc

Thats about it for now, sorry to be so long winded, any and all help is appreciated, TIA

If you go into Mail accounts, click on the Account tab and click on your POP3 account, follow Next, Next, Next, then Options, finally Next, Next again - you should get Options (3/3).

Here you'll find a dropdown where it should for you say Get message headers only, with the a tick in Include 50k or something. Change the dropdown to Get full copy of messages, and you'll also notice the tickbox is now disabled. This should download the full content of emails when you next try.

Not sure about the Germany thing, and also the internet explorer. You have tried to use the Fit To Screen option in IE's View menu? Usually does the trick for me.

Cheers

Hi,

I use a product called ThunderHawk. You can download a demo.

Its about as close to desktop web access as you are likely to get.

Hope this helps.

Thanks for the tip, is the demo fully functional and or time limited, if so how much is the full version. I will have a search for it as well, thanks again.
