upgrade fail

While doing the XDA-Developer upgrade, XDA-developers-SER-v12.exe, right after "getting information from device", the com port connection was lost, now (I didn't unplug anything), i have a "upgrading...........It will take about 5 minutes" screen on my device.

I have tried a hard reset, soft reset, etc etc.
now the PC won't recognise the device so that ui can restart the upgrade.

Any suggestions???
