Turning off XDA2

Im off on holiday soon ands won.t be taking it with me. I don't want to leave it and the battery runs out and i don't want to leave it in the charger for too long. has anybody got a solution. :D

You can't actually turn off the XDA2, only put it into standby. Best advice is to just back it up all the data and then restore it if it is lost when you come back. If you are gone for 2 weeks or less than you might save some battery power by putting it into flight mode. Mine lasted from a full charge for 15 days (without use) on flight mode.

Leaving it charging wont harm it as far as I know, you can switch on flight mode then press power button to switch off phone and pda, alternatively you could do a full backup to sd card and just leave it in the drawer until you return home.
