is it a wallaby (I) or himilaya (II).

wallabies can put all sounds (system + phone) where himilayas only put out phone sounds. At least that's what I've gathered.

Let me know, please.

Himalaya's TOO can put all sounds thru the (flat) bottom connector. People with a T-Mobile MDAII carkit or similar (Qtek 2020 carkit, Yeti) get ALL audio thru their carkit speaker.
The big question is: HOW do those carkits DO that?
The XDA2/iMate carkit (as sold by Expansys) only puts in-call phone audio thru the bottom connector.

My guess is this is not a s/w problem, but a hardware tweak . . . .

 I don't think it's hardware but only software.Someone say with a old version of rom it's working but now he have only phone audio go out from bottom connector.I don't like to insert two connector to listen all audio in my car hi-fi.
Any Idea????

AFAIK
-there hasnt ben anyone with a XDA2/uiMate carkit that has suceeded in getting all audio via the carkit-speaker (ie vie the botton connector). That goes for all rom's
-getttin all audio via carkit speaker is default behaviour of the MDAII carkit.

So: Has to be h/w. There are many threads on this. One possible suggestion (back in May i gues) t solve this is to change handsfree.dll. So far no one has tried/succeeded however.
