i have created my own rom....how can i install the new rom on to my sx56.

I also want to back up my old rom just in case.... :wink:

anyone have any ideas

Use sd card method of flashing, you will need xdatools plus choose sd card flashing when cooking rom. Unzip downloaded file then use xdatools to program the sd card through card reader on pc. You can backup existing rom either with xdatools or using bootloader method to backup to sd card.

i have a exe rom...i dont think i need to flash the rom using teh sd card........
however will i need to use the xda tool to copy my current rom. how can i do that?

to install an exe rom i put the exe file on the wallaby and then just run it using the stylus by tapping on the file. (done when off the cradle)

WHEN I SETUP XDAtools-jeff the pc get me this message(this application has failed to start because RAPI.DLL was not found ; re-install the application may fix this problem)

so i;m re-installing the programe many times and nothing happen

so for profissional try to tell me what i do and be thx for replaying

Folish question, but have you installed Active Sync?
