What were you doing that got in this state? Pushing buttons, trying to update the ROM,...?
If you didn't do anything then try a hard reset (power and softreset button). If the doesn't work and you didn't do anything else then send it back to the place you ordered it from.
If you were trying to update a ROM it may be that you were connected to a USB hub and the update failed.

Well to be honest with you, I received for gift a Qtek 9090 it was given to me with a BT GPS, all was in French, and even if I am French I cannot stand French OS, translation are always horribly done.
So I DL a T-Mobile ROM, BUT I made the mistake to use en XDAII ROM, the Upgrade went well, I reboot the XDA III and I was in the USB/Serial Mode.
I know very well to hqndle such things on iPAQ, I often Swap Japanese to English ROM, but on the 9090 I really don t know how to do. I looked qround on the forum I tried severql stuff, but with no result. Lately I got the COUNTRY CODE error when I tired to restore the rom (I looked at the GERMAN to ENGLISH) thread.
So really I would love to fix this soon.
Once again HELP !

What happens when you do a hard reset (power button held while doing pushing 'reset' with the sylus (pen)?

I'm thinking that the only way your going to recover is by loading the image off of an SD card from the Bootloader window, I'm not sure how to this though.

Well it is indeed the only thing which cqn help me here, but tomorrow I am flying back to Tokyo and I will NEVER find a QTEK in Japan.
I could dump the empty or fake rom from my dead 9090 to an SD using tty, thanks to the cmd d2s and could just try to recover it with the SD, the process work fine but well uploading a fake or empty rom won t help.
I could also find on this forum FTP some ROM, but no way to upload them to my Qtek or even no solution to chqnge the Counrty ID stuff.
There is another way to solve this stuff is to use TTY with a lnb nk.nb0 like cmd from a modified ROM but once again no info on how to change the languqge ROM info.
The XDA ROM Tool stuff is nice well done but rely too much on ActiveSync. Before trying to chqnge my ROM I saved it using this soft but once your 9090 stuck to the SERIAL/USB Screen it become useless since it is using ActiveSync.
No one here got an idea ? How to solve this matter ???
