Qtek 9090 ROM and Keyboard

Hi,

Just bought a new Qtek 9090 here in France. I was very interested in changing the ROM over to an English version but I wonder if changing from French to English ROM will cause a problem with the keyboard.

Here in France they use the AZERTY keyboard whereas most of the world uses the QWERTY keyboard. I looked around in the settings and couldn't find anything that lets me select a English keyboard so if I did manage to swap the ROM does that mean that I would be stuck with QWERTY software and AZERTY hardware?

Did you get a good deal on the phone or something? Why didn't you just purchase the QWERTY version? IE: PDA2K.

There in "GENERAL" it's a thread that can help you to remap the keyboard.

It's unfinished project but You can try it.
