Slow On/Off Response

Elo,
I've just upgraded my XDA II to the new O2 UK ROM (.187). Before the upgrade, it was rather sluggish when turned off. It would take anywhere from 1 to 5 seconds to swith off after the button was pressed.

Now that I've upgraded, the problem is still there, AND it's now really slow to turn back on when the on/off button is pressed.

Any suggestions guys?

I have the same problem but it occur from ROM 1.72 O2 UK.
I don't know the reason why it happen but it doesn't occur in ROM 1.60.

I try to remove all today-plugin but it still occur.

Does anyone have idea about it?

I have exactly the same problem. I haven't noticed that in the old O2 1.60.50 cersion but it is very bad in the 1.72.187 I have.
A couple of times it didn't turn on at all! It was only after a HARD reset it came back to life!!

I removed to O2 Active User Interface thing, and that made everything speed up a lot. Including the On/Off function.

However, after about 2 weeks, the problem has returned. The system in general is quite speedy, however the on/off is once again nice and slow.

Ergh.

Anyone got any suggestions?
