Basically i was gonna buy the tomtom3 navigation, what bluetooth gps reciever should i get with it- i am thinking to buy tomtom's own bluetooth reciever.
Also somone on ebay is selling a software cd for £5, with tomtom3 in it, if i get a gps reciever, then will that software work on my pda.

Because if it does then its like i saved a lot of money ainit.

Cheers

you can go to www.gpspassion.com . The best GPS seems to be the royaltek BT1000.

Be carefull with the CD as if this copy of Tomtom has been already activated, you will be able to activate it only if the last activation was done 6 month ago (or to find the illegal patch on the web).

last point : you will have to get an add-on to use a BT serial profile on your xda. I don't have the link of the company but you will find if on this forum.

@jpa: I think youre suggesting to use the Pocket Bluetooth Tools.
These are only needed for pre 1.72 ROM's, plus they cause some issues when using a BT headset too (slow headset call pickup).
My advice: Dont use the tools today, they were made in a different time
I would suggest to get the latest 1.72 ROM of your liking (O2 based I Guess for you)
