After hard reset, i stopped the auto install of the imate...

hey... after you hard reset an imate pda2k, it will begin to auto install a lot of crap... i simply hit reset at that point. am i really losing much from doing this? or gaining anything? all i can remember that isnt there is the fax app.

no it wont break anything - you'll just get the microsoft OS with no operator programs installed.

Yeah, thats exactly what it did. Unfortuanately I've learned I use some of the I-Mate custom apps. (caller id picture, and one or two others) I tried to install them seperate, but it crashed the device. I'm not hurting for space or anything, so I'm not that worried about having them installed.

if you unhide the extROM you can simply install the cabs you want.
