Dear all,

I dumped the OS, Extended ROM and Radio firmware to a SD card and
flashed succesfully other devices with it. Now I would like to be able to safe the contents of this SD card to an image file to be able to use my SD card again for other purposes...

I tried w/o any success the OSImageTool from the XDA-Tools, it does
not seem to recognize the image on the card. Nevertheless, it flashes fine to another device....

Is the structure of a QTEK9090 dump completely different so it's not recognized by the OSImageTool ? Is there another tool available for
this ? Or any other way to make a complete dump of the raw SD content ?

TIA,

Willem.

you can use ntrw ( posted above ) or psdwrite (http://wiki.xda-developers.com/index.php?pagename=XdaUtils%2Fpsdwrite.exe).

the structure is very different from the one used by the wallaby/xda1/osimagetool.

xda2(himalaya), xda3(blueangel), jam(magician), sp3(typhoon), and probably other new models too. all use a similar format,

you can use sdtool (http://wiki.xda-developers.com/index.php?pagename=RomTools%2Fsdtool.pl) to extract the contents of an sdcard.

Is it possible to save the dead device with fine bootloader and even booting mix of ROMS?

Details of this are written here. What exactly should I download and perform?
