Setting camera to record to hard drive

Hi All,

Here's my query:

If I was to sync my XDA II to my computer in the normal way, would there be any way to set the camera to record to the PC hard drive, instead of the file being written to my device?

This would turn my device and computer into a home CCTV system, which has obvious benefits

Does anyone have any ideas?
