xda1 Memory Cards

This'll be pretty basic to all you rocket scientists but I need to know what type of memory card to get-there seem to be dozens of kinds-Flash, Smart, SD, etc. I suspect it's a Multimedia card but can't be sure.
Is it true that the xda1 will only run cards up to 512Mb? I see some online sellers offer 1Gb specifically for xda1-but they also offer several different card types as well!
Is this the "way to go" to use my xda1 as an MP3 player?

try doing a search about support for 1GB sd cards
it have been up before and i'm pretty sure it's supported by the xda1

other then that xda1 2 and..... support mmc and sd cards
