I just ordered an alu case for my PDA2K LINK TO ALU CASE (http://www.deshop.net/produkt_detail_zoek.asp?hgr_id=&gr_id=&produkt_id=0704PDRALUMDA3&page=zoeken.asp&zoekstring=9090) , for 24 euros it's not too much either :-)

Because I ordered the JAM yesterday at that shop too, and they have to ship it from the Netherlands to Belgium, I told them to send it together with the JAM next week.

I'll post some pics for you guys next week...

edit: just saw they got a lot off types of cases for the PDA2K...

Just wish they had one for the JAM too :-(

They ship everywhere in the world. Cause they have to ship it for me from the Netherlands to Belgium (not as far as US  ), but I don't know what the shipping fee will be for US, you might send them a mail at info@deshop.net and ask them.

As soon as I got it (can be any moment) I'll send you some pics.

I just received the same case from Brando (HKG) and it is simply too bulky (I have cases made by the same company for the Treo 600 & HP 2215), but the one for the PDA2K is way too thick IMHO. The upside is that it affords very good protection while allowing good amount of button access.

Would this case be much more like it?!

Anyone can help me to choose between the upper one of VW_ELM of this one:

The innopocket one is of new design (flip) but it definitely looks a lot more fitted than the one with flip on the side.

So, the other one (Brando of PDAir) is very large fitted around the device? That should mean that it is not very usefull!

Is it also not usefull, because the device isn''t very easy to slide out?

Can anybody state if the case not from innopocket is usefull and good fitting? Or isn't it?

Don't know about these aluminium cases - they don't have anywhere for my credit cards or licence. I think I'll stick to the leather case by Krusell.

Hi!

Have you noticed any decrease of phone or Wi-Fi reception with the Alu case on, as was the problem with the XDAII Alu cases?

Thank you!

Chris

Anyone has the metal case already? Was wondering about some experiences!!!

Anyone has some experience with Innopocket? Was wondering how long shipping would take!

I always carry my qtek 9090 in my pants, I don't want a whole case for my qtek for it adds to much thickness. What I am looking for is some sort of plastic lit to protect the screen, something like the lit that came standard with the iPaq 38xx / 39xx, does anyone know if this already exists for the qtek 9090?

I preordered it a month ago... I just received an email with a tracking number showing it will arrive tomorrow.

I'm thinking about getting one of these aluminum cases too and was wondering the same thing. Do these effect reception?

I'm more concerned about phone reception than Wi-Fi. I currently have an aluminum case for my Toshiba e755 PPC, and it hasn't really hurt my wifi reception too much (then again, I'm usually within 15 feet of my router).

Wow, I really like that case (with the clear plastic front). Couple questions...

* I noticed it has a hole in the back for the camera, can you take pictures okay with the case on?
* Can you pull the keyboard out without problems with the case on?
* The case I have for my Toshiba e755 left a few scratch marks, did this one do the same to the blue angel?
* Any complaints about the case?

Thanks!

Looks like there's a problem with the microphone hole.

There is a problem with the mic as in no hole at all. You either have to open the case to speak or drill a small hole as I have done to remedy the problem. I hope the mfg will correct this issue for others.

it is already corrected!
