Merory card formatting???

I've had some stuff on my SD card that I've deleted so it's empty only it's showing 80Mb on there in Start>settings>system>memory>storage card. Is there anyway of formatting the card to clear it? There is a file on there, which I think was associated with some films on there, that will not delete, it is showing 0 bytes on Properties. Any idea's?

you could format it using ie PocketMechanic.
