view sms inbox/outbox from PC

is it possible to view the sms inbox and outbox of my XDA2 on my local pc via activesync.

Try SOTI's Pocket Controller - I use it even though I suspect (NOTE: Not confirmed) that the software causes some activesync issues.

The other option is Jeyo's Mobile Extender which extends the Pocket PC's SMS inbox to Outlook on your PC.

When you are talking about Jeyo... can someone tell me if it is possible to get the SMS messages back to the device after a hard reset?

I use AIM Productions' SMS Cool! which works fairly well but you can't restore the folders to the phone. It also gets a bit slow when you have a large number of messages in your inbox and sent folder.

i use Jeyo Mobile Companion and it's very good prog.... you can backup and restore your sms very easy and fast.........
