how to unlock Cingular's Siemens SX 66???

I'm currently still in an AT&T plan which has 20 months left in the contract. I did some comparison and switching over to Cingular right now will cost me $30 more a month. However, I've been waiting for the SX66 and can only get it from Cingular. I would like to buy the phone at $650 without a contract, but has anyone unlocked theirs yet? This way I can use it till my AT&T contract expires. Thank you.

I have an update. I was fortunate enough to buy one from a Cingular store. For some reason, it was already unlocked! This is a brand new phone. I asked the salesperson if they will all be unlocked, he said no and that the next shipments will be locked to Cingular.
