Create SMS messages on PC screen

Is it possible to type / send / receive SMS message on my PC screen whilst my XDA2 is synchronised and in its docking station?

While Synced you can use the following programs to send SMS using the PC.

1) Jeyo Mobile Extender (www.jeyo.com) highly recommended. It is cheap works flawlessly and allows your SMSes to be stored in the Outlook folders. Just manage your SMSes the exact same way you would your emails.

2) Pocket Controller Professional (download trial from Pocketgear.com)
Concept is similar to the original PPC-Remote from MS, but a gazillion times better

You get to control the PPC remotely from your desktop. Better yet if you have bluetooth on your PC.

PERFECT for geeking around with your PPC sans stylus.

And for Aesthetics, it has skins of most PPCs that you can download and the hard buttons work!

I use SMS Cool! from Aimproductions (http://www.aimproductions.be/ppc_catalogue_title.asp?product_id=128) which works well for me. Imports all your current SMSes, inbox, sent and deleted items but texts you send from SMS Cool! don't appear in your sent folder on the PDA, unfortunately.
